3. The zirconium oxide probe must be slowly inserted into the flue during installation to prevent the zirconium tube from bursting when exposed to high temperatures. The oxygen probe junction box has two air inlets that must face downwards. One air inlet is the reference gas. The entrance is always open and cannot be blocked; the other inlet is the standard gas inlet and is normally closed.
